Take tape measure and for length measure from the nape of the neck collar area to base of the tail. this is your length basically the trunk of the pet without the tail or head. for height measure from floor to top of shoulder while pet is standing. all sherpa bags come with one years manufacter's warranty from date of purchase. you can contact the manufacteur direct for warranty issues. This carrier is airline approved please check with your airline as they all have size requirements that are different depending on airline. This bag has mesh panels for ventilation. top and side entry. fits comfortable under most airline seats, includes convenient shoulder strap. actual bag dimensions from outside are 20" D x 11.75" w x 11.5 Height. bag weight byself is 3.2 pounds. for pets up to 22lbs but please measure your pet all pets are different sizes and may not fit in the bag so weight is secondary measurement to actually measuring your pet. please we discourage returns on pets carriers for hygiene reasons and cost of shipping that is incurred.
